FBM 2009 Bikes coming to Triton Cycles

Weve just placed our order for the FBM 2009 range of completes.

This is FBM's first year producing complete bikes. The bikes have been in the pipeline for years but FBM didn't want to launch anything that didn't deserve the FBM name. But there finally on there way to us!

For 2009 bikes we're going to be offering a free pair of Etnies shoes with each BMX Complete bike £200 and over. The first bikes to come through with the offer will be the FBM range.

So not only will you be looking swish with your new ride but you'll also be rocking some of the best shoes available for BMX!

Etnies sponsor a whole host of BMX pros including Aaron Ross , Ruben Alancantara , Jamie Bestwick , Morgan Wade and loads more. The shoes carry alot of input from the team and look great.

All you need to do to get your free shoes is remember to add your UK Shoe size and preferred style of shoe when placing your order for your new bike and we'll dispatch them with your new bike.

For 2009 bikes we'll continue to offer free postage to mainland uk. So thats Free shoes and Free delivery. We think its a good deal but as ever if you've heard of a better deal let us know and we'll match it! Contact us at info@tritoncycles.co.uk

Custom Trek Madone for Tim Don

In case you hadn't heard, Tim Don, Trek sponsored National Triathlon Champion, has qualified and been selected for the Beijing Olympics. Nice one Tim. As this is Trek and that is the IOC, Tim gets not one but two Olympic bikes, A and B. Or B and A. As they're identical, he could ride either and not notice the difference.

Having built them up, Colin, who runs the Tech Services department in Trek UK, felt compelled to weigh the colourful beasts. 14lbs. With a spec of SRAM Red, Bontrager Race XXX Lite components and wheels, he can feel secure in the knowledge that the light weight of the bike owes nothing to flimsy, 'race only' exotica; these parts are off the shelf units that any keen cyclist can step into a shop and purchase. Which means they're built to last.

Poor old bike B gets shipped to China in a box with a container load of other athletes equipment, while bike A gets VIP treatment, being taken out by Tim himself. Hopefully, providing Tim is feeling generous after the Games, you can see bike A at the Cycle Show in Earl's court in October.
